Description from the seller
GICLÉE PRINT ON PREMIUM MUSEUM-QUALITY PAPER 50 x 70 cm IN A LIMITED EDITION OF ONLY 5 COPIES.
The work is a vibrant example of contemporary Pop Art that plays on ideological contrast. It depicts Karl Marx, the father of socialism, in the paradoxical act of consuming a Pepsi, an iconic symbol of global capitalism.
The background is a dynamic, colorful mosaic that blends comic aesthetics with historical iconography (stars, sickle and hammer), creating an ironic dialogue and visually stimulating tension between political theory and modern consumerism. The style uses a halftone technique (dots) reminiscent of vintage prints, making the work bold, provocative, and decidedly current.
Production method: Development of a preliminary visual-architectural framework through AI generative models to define composition, tonal values, and color schemes, followed by a meticulous manual digital painting intervention aimed at perfecting anatomy, integrating customized textures, and imprinting the artist's distinctive stylistic imprint.
