This work in the format 80 × 80 × 4.5 cm is created on a wide, high-quality canvas and moves between painting and sculpture.
In the light, the surface unfolds a clear presence. Depending on the incidence of light and the viewing angle, texture and depth change, individual layers stand out more. The work appears spatial and tangible – perception arises while walking, standing, or lingering.
Frequency GOLD — Sculpture of light, structure & presence
Frequency GOLD is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist I transfer rhythm, pause and repetition into a visual structure.
The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions create tensions comparable to held tones, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.
Work details:

Images: The images were taken under professional studio lighting. The light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placement under direct or indirect light to fully reveal the color play and make the works come alive.
