Description from the seller
Antique ROB hedeerg boras ancre Swiss Pocket Watch – Silver 0.800 – 15 Rubis – Circa early 20th century
This elegant Swiss pocket watch features a classic white enamel dial with beautifully stylized Arabic numerals and ornate gilt hands. The subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock adds to its traditional aesthetic, offering the charm typical of early 20th-century European watchmaking.
The case is crafted in 0.800 silver, clearly marked on the inner lid along with several hallmarks and the serial number178189 . The back of the case is richly decorated with fine guilloché engraving and an empty shield-shaped cartouche, perfect for personal inscription.
Inside, the watch houses a 15-rubis (15 jewels) movement with an anchor escapement (“Ancre – 15 Rubis”), as engraved on the cuvette. The movement itself is clean, mechanically impressive, and features the traditional Avance/Retard regulator.
