maZe - EMPTY - XXL

In this series, the landscape, nature, becomes a pretext for an investigation into the emotional space. The images do not depict real places or things, but evoke perceptual states in constant transformation. The painting acts through layering and intuition, letting fields of color emerge that do not describe, but suggest.

Each work arises from an unstable balance between control and impulse; form is built and dissolved, light surfaces and slides elsewhere. References to nature are recognizable, but elusive. The atmospheres move between the echo of something already experienced and the sensation of something that is about to happen.

These works do not speak of the real, but of what it moves; they are open visions, permeated by doubt, silence, and a desire to be present.

The work is unique, and with it will be shipped its own certificate of authenticity signed by maZe.
