Bear 090, a hand-pulled screenprint by Michiel Folkers (born 1982), edition 25, on 340 g acid-free handmade paper, in warm rose and deep purple inks, 70 × 50 cm, created in 2025, signed and numbered, in excellent condition, produced in the Netherlands and sold directly by the artist, includes Certificate of Authenticity.
Description from the seller
This screen print is made with a second-hand stuffed teddy bear and 2 inks (Warm Rose and deep dark blue/purple). The original teddy bear is dipped in Indian ink and printed on paper in its entirety. From this original bear work, a screen print was made in an edition of 25 bears.
Technique: Hand-pulled silkscreen on 340-gram (acid-free) handmade paper
Includes: Artist Certificate of Authenticity
Worldwide shipping / ships within 48 hours in a tube. The work is shipped without a frame.

Michiel Folkers a.k.a. Gieler (1982) began in the late 1990s with graffiti in Amsterdam. Years later he swapped street walls for canvas in his studio. In much of his work the sense of the streets is still clearly visible or felt. At the moment his work is traveling all over the world and he exhibits in galleries from Zurich to New York. Especially in America his work has become popular in recent years, and he hangs in the homes of several 'famous people'.
