Title: "Lost Connection"
Description:
Like a trace that suddenly breaks, a restless line winds through the space — powerful, vulnerable, and full of movement. Black branches seem like paths that have once crossed, while the red splashes remind of feelings that were too intense to stay quiet. Nothing is neat or planned, and that is exactly what holds something deeply human.
The painting tells of moments when closeness arises and vanishes just as quickly. It’s not only about separation, but also about the memory that something was connected once. Between chaos and emptiness remains a quiet aftertaste — like a conversation that isn’t finished but still continues to echo inside.

The canvas will be delivered rolled.
Christoph Prein is an Austrian artist known for his abstract and contemporary works, mainly created with acrylic paints. Originating from St. Margarethen near Knittelfeld, Prein’s pieces are often characterized by a minimalist, abstract style and are crafted with high-quality materials to ensure vibrant colors and longevity. In his art, he frequently explores themes of identity, memory, and the exploration of human emotions, often blurring the lines between the visible and the invisible.
Prein’s approach to art is multidimensional, combining painting with elements of sculpture and installation. This unique style has earned him recognition in Austria and internationally, with exhibitions across Europe, North America, and Asia. His works invite viewers to reflect on the complexities of the modern world and the deeper aspects of the human experience.
For a painting with dimensions 160 x 100 cm, a stretcher frame of 150 x 90 cm with a thickness of 2-4 cm is required.
You can either stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery dealer.
This is a handmade original, signed by the artist on the back and dated.
High-quality, lightfast acrylic paints were used on multiple layers of white-primed gallery canvas.
A varnish was applied to protect the work as well.
This piece is handmade and thus a unique one-of-a-kind!
--- Authenticity certificate included ---
Beautify your private residence, law firm, clinic, or office and elevate your space in an elegant and stylish way.
When a person goes into his innermost depths, into a sphere that rarely comes to light, into a space that is mysterious and hidden, waiting to be discovered, tickled awake, even tormentingly uplifted, then art is born.
