The 1966 Combi T1 body is presented in very good overall condition. A complete exterior repaint was carried out in 2023, providing a uniform hue and regular gloss. The reinforcements and underbodies were refurbished in 2020, with the replacement of the four triangular reinforcements and the central beam, ensuring a healthy and durable structure. A small scratch is present on the front left door, as well as a light defect on the rear bumper; these marks are purely cosmetic and do not affect driving. The window seals show signs of aging: I recommend replacing several of them to optimise sealing. The door bumpers would also benefit from renewal to improve closing. The Combi is equipped with its original 1500 engine, fully rebuilt in 2025. The overhaul included: new ignition, new crankshaft, new connecting rods, new bearings, new piston/cylinder kit, replaced filter + oil, as well as a complete cleaning and sandblasting of the engine block. The engine starts perfectly when cold and warm.
Transmission has undergone extensive work: new clutch kit, gearbox + reducers seals kit replaced, oil changes performed, rear drive shaft boots (x2) new, rear SPI seals (x2) SABO, and replacement of the gearbox cover to integrate the reverse light.
