THE ARTIST
Danny Goessens is a contemporary artist, who, after years of turning his back on landscape painting, portraits and still lifes, now practices several techniques. For painting he opts for oil on canvas and currently enjoys working in 3D. Sculpture is mainly in marble and blue stone. Furthermore, he also engages in glass art, bronze, wood, glass, metal, ceramics as well as jewelry design in noble metals. There is a continual interchange of techniques and genres.
He was born in 1958 in Meerbeke – Belgium, where he still resides. From a young age the fascination with art was already strong, and he participated in an exhibition at the age of 14. Since then he has exhibited his works domestically and internationally. Numerous works are in international collections. He studied at the academy and various private courses both in Belgium and abroad. Exhibitions at home and abroad, Casco, Art3f and numerous other participations.
