Artist bio
Praline Cosmiche, forever fond of 80s icons, comics, sci-fi settings and video games, internalizes the images of that era and reinterprets them on canvas, increasingly emphasizing a pop-matrix interpretive approach.

Over the years she has grown close to Hip Hop culture and the graffiti world, befriending some pioneers of American writing and beginning to integrate elements of that culture into her works.

The sharp graphics and vivid colors constitute the hallmark of her works, achieved through the use of various tools such as spray cans, acrylic paints, and markers.

Each technique is skillfully combined, giving life to compositions that not only catch the eye but transcend aesthetics to become an intense and engaging visual experience.

The precision and intensity of the details are the result of ongoing research, pushing the boundaries between graphic and painterly.

Continuous experimentation and the will to innovate are reflected in every piece, where Praline Cosmiche explores new forms and techniques, always staying true to her personal vision.

She does not define herself as a pop artist or a street artist; her work belongs to post-graffitism,
a current that goes beyond the concept of urban art as an act of rebellion, evolving into a more complex and reflective visual expression.

From this perspective, her art becomes a bridge between the street art world and the gallery world, a meeting between the popular language of graffiti and the intellectualism of contemporary art.

Praline Cosmiche turns her attention to an audience seeking art that stimulates critical thinking, reflects the social and cultural challenges of the present, capable of arousing questions and provoking emotions, without remaining indifferent.
