Jaeger - Barometer - Crystal, Brass

Barometer made by the great watchmaking house Jaeger, circa 1950, since the name change to Jaeger Lecoultre occurred in the 1960s.

It consists of two bevelled crystals joined together by a rounded brass edge at both ends and mounted to the black bakelite base with a plate identifying the serial number.

The inscriptions are on the inside to prevent wear.

It features a wheel to adjust the barometer to the altitude of the location where it is placed. The barometer also includes a thermometer, creating a small weather station at home.
