AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Rare and remarkable panel cabinet.

Early, first half of the 17th century, 1610 - 1630.
These cabinets are always fairly understated; the decoration lies in the panels.
Magnificent panels, quarter-sawn so that we can see the characteristic leopard spots in the wood.

Also very nice is that the pilasters at the corners wrap around the corner, continuing to the side, giving it a sculptural element.
Refined profiling in the mouldings and styles.
Very nice burl too. A well-worn patina.

Inside three shelves. The middle one has been altered later and provided with two drawers in oak.
Continuous stiles - older than the bun feet.
The lock is original, with a working key.
In the base rail a beautiful carving of 'counted money'.

Little restoration; all four feet have been shortened by about 25 cm.

I ship only to EU member countries.
Buyers outside the EU must arrange their own transport.
I pack it as your carrier wants, on a pallet.
You order a label and I stick it on.
I can advise you which carrier to use if you want.
