Elżbieta Armatys - Taniec Dmuchawów

Elżbieta Armatys – a Polish painter born in 1962 in Kraków. She began her artistic path in 1996, when painting became for her not only a form of expression but also a way of careful observation of the world and capturing its ephemeral beauty.

In her work she willingly draws on floral motifs and elements of nature, which she interprets with lightness, harmony and emotional sensitivity. Her paintings often combine realism with subtle stylization, and are characterized by expressive brushstrokes, soft color transitions, and the ability to extract light from seemingly simple subjects.

The artist creates both delicate and poetic compositions — such as depictions of dandelions or field flowers — as well as more expressive works with more intense color.
