This photograph was taken of Huong River in Hue, the imperial city of Vietnam.
The Huong River (Perfume River) flows gently through the heart of Huế, reflecting the ancient capital’s poetry, history, and quiet grace. Named for the fragrant flowers that once drifted down from upstream orchards, the river carries a soft, dreamlike beauty - especially as it passes pagodas, royal tombs, and old gardens. Calm and reflective, the Huong River has long been a symbol of Huế’s soul, where nature, culture, and memory meet in serene harmony.
The photograph is printed on silk surface photographic paper featuring a refined semi-matte finish with a delicate fine honeycomb texture that enhances depth while reducing glare and fingerprints. It delivers natural, true-to-life color reproduction and excellent detail.

She has received commissions from globally recognised organisations such as Louis Vuitton, Amazon, Samsung and Vogue and her work has been featured in numerous international publications (Vogue, Vanity Fair, Bazaar, CNBC Media, Aesthetica Art Prize, El Economista, Expansión, The Times of India, and Vietnam News - just to name a few).
She is a Member of the Board of Directors of The Royal Photographic Society of Spain (RSF), becoming the first foreigner to hold this position in the Society’s 125-year history.
Alongside her artistic practice, she is active as a curator and photography jury member. She is the Chief Curator of RSF Gallery and has recently served as a jury member for photography competitions at the Geominero Museum and the Torrejón de Ardoz City Photo Competition (Spain). She previously served for several years as a jury member for the IE Foundation Prizes in the Humanities at IE University (Spain).
