Bruno Cantais, professional painter based in Lyon, is registered and contributing to the Maison des Artistes. Born in 1966 in Le Havre.
Bruno Cantais explores several techniques, ranging from Rauschenberg's abstract expressionism, to matter projections, to Pop Art collage or expressionism.
He plumbs the surface of the canvas, digging grooves that seem to open paths or sometimes get lost in the fogs of color. His inspiration is order and disorder, of feeling and sensing, of shadow and light, of emptiness and fullness.
