Description from the seller
Gregor Michael Kühn works with an unmistakable sense for detail and aesthetics, both with traditional and contemporary techniques.
He discovered his passion as an emotionally closed-off child. Early on he found his path in art and music to process and express traumas from childhood and adolescence.
Thus his artworks are a by-product of the process of giving his intrinsic urge in the emotional world a bit more peace and clarity.
Due to the financial situation at the time, unfortunately only a few of his paintings survived, as the canvases were repainted several times.
As largely misunderstood, he found himself in his youth in Leipzig's techno culture. Among like-minded artists and societal dropouts he felt at ease for the first time in his life.
Since 2019 he has been active under the alias KunstTechnologe as a producer and DJ of electronic music. Clubs in Leipzig, Berlin, London and Paris brought him closer to the art behind the music. In addition to painting, this has become a permanent part of his artistic work.
Each artwork, whether a track, a set, or a painting, is a very specific and personal part of his past.
A piece of healing from his own strength.
