With Kiss the Flame, I wanted to play with the universal idea of “playing with fire.” The flame represents attraction, passion, but also the boundary we sometimes choose to cross.
The very close framing turns the lips into a sensual landscape, while the warm light of the flame becomes the visual heart of the image.
