Tere Ormazabal was born in Bilbao, Spain.
Artistic photographer with an extensive career in creation, teaching, and institutional collaboration.
She holds a degree in Geography and History from UPV/EHU, and has developed work focused on artistic photography and alternative techniques such as cyanotype, Van Dyke brown, liquid emulsion, lithographic film, and image transfers both Polaroid and digital emulsion transfer.
Her work has been exhibited in numerous galleries and cultural centers in the Basque Country since the late nineties and has received national photography awards.

In this series, everyday objects become the protagonists of small visual stories, where color, form, and texture intertwine in harmony. Each composition seeks balance and serenity, inviting the viewer to pause and contemplate the details that often go unnoticed. A bird, present throughout the series, provides a living element that balances the composition and humanizes the still lifes.
