Chess set - Groot en Luxe Schaakspel & backgammon - Wood

This lot consists of a luxurious chess set and backgammon game.

The set has a luxurious appearance thanks to the glossy lacquer on the folding board and on the chess pieces. Great to use as a display piece. The chess pieces are deep cherry red and in wood tones, and thus very glossy.

The chess pieces are handmade, very elegantly turned and felted with a fabric coating.
The king measures 9 cm.
The bishop measures 7.5 cm.
The pawn measures 6 cm.

Inside the folding board there is a wooden backgammon playing field. There are 30 stones and 2 dice.

The chessboard measures 44 cm x 44 cm and is in excellent condition; it can be folded closed. The hooks work well and are original.
The field size is 4.5 cm.

Small signs of use are noticeable.
