Oil painting on canvas "Still life with watermelon". The author of the painting is Ukrainian artist Valeri Hukalenko. Valeri was born January 26, 1966 in Ukraine, and began painting already during his school years; he studied at the City Art School for Children in Zhytomyr. At age 15 he began studying at the Republican Art School in Kyiv, and after finishing the school he qualified for the Lviv National Academy of Arts. He works as an artist, combining a classical and modern style, supplementing traditional techniques with his own vision, and has participated in many exhibitions in Ukraine. The artist's works are in private collections in Ukraine and Europe. The painting measures 40×50 cm, and the sides are painted.
