Description from the seller
Rectangular mirror cabinet Cristal Art model 2712 – Italy, 1970s
Elegant rectangular mirror cabinet produced by Cristal Art, model 2712, characterized by a scenographic and thick blue concave glass frame that surrounds the central mirrored glass.
The mirror is supported by refined brass mounts fixed to a wooden base, creating a fascinating suspended effect that adds lightness and depth to the composition.
The design is striking and refined: the mirror seems to “float” inside the colored glass frame thanks to the metallic supports, a distinctive feature of Cristal Art productions from the 1960s–70s. The result is a decorative object with great stage presence, capable of enhancing both classical interiors and contemporary environments.
Quintessential in design and impeccable in execution, this iconic Cristal Art mirror perfectly represents the quality and elegance of postwar Italian design.
Conditions:
The mirror’s condition is excellent. The brass mounts show a natural patina of age, visible in the photographs, which bears witness to the object's authenticity and vintage charm. The crystal and the mirror are very well preserved.
Dimensions:
100 × 65 cm
