The work is inscribed within a contemporary reading of the cubist language, where the face is built through the fragmentation of planes and the overlap of geometric shapes. The figure is not represented from a single viewpoint, but through multiple perspectives that integrate into a single visual structure, generating a composition that balances abstraction and figuration.

In The Hidden Face I work with the idea of identity as a multiple construction. The face appears fragmented into different planes that reveal simultaneously several perspectives, as if different gazes coexist within the same figure.

The composition is organized around a clear geometric structure where each color plane participates in the construction of the face. The shapes are articulated by strong lines and areas of color that create tension and balance within the pictorial space.

Color plays a fundamental role in the piece. Turquoise tones, yellows, pinks and ochres dialogue with each other, generating contrasts that reinforce the sense of depth and movement. These chromatic combinations allow each fragment of the face to have its own presence within the whole.

The brushstroke maintains a visible painterly character, constantly recalling the manual gesture of the creative process. Through this fragmented construction I seek to suggest that the face is not a single fixed identity, but a sum of gazes, emotions and perspectives that coexist within the same figure.
