Guy Marineau was the photographer for all fashion shows, from the 1970s, for haute couture and notably for Yves Saint Laurent, then, in the 1980s, for the first runway shows of these young designers who made that decade a fireworks display.
He was a correspondent for Women's Wear and Vogue US.
A lover and chronicler of parties, personalities and the Parisian nightlife, which today has earned him a very beautiful collection of photographic archives spanning about thirty years, he was one of the very few photographers granted access at the Palace. He continues to 'cover' fashion shows and fashion events.
