About the artist:
I am Erminando Aliaj, an artist and photographer based in Brescia. My passion for photography has grown over the years to become the heart of my artistic and professional path. Through my work I explore themes such as identity, diversity and human connections, seeking to tell stories that go beyond the visible, to evoke emotions and reflections.
My photographic research has led me to travel to South America, Southeast Asia, and many other parts of the world, documenting places and people with the aim of creating a universal dialogue through images. I enjoy working with settings that go beyond the urban context, preferring symbolic environments that highlight the relationship between body, space and narration.
I have exhibited my work in numerous solo and group shows in Italy and abroad. My photographs have been published in magazines such as Vanity Fair, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Elle Spain, La Repubblica, and others.
I have photographed numerous famous artists including Stefano Bollani, Marie Agnes Gillot, Fatima Robinson, Irene Grandi, Bob Sinclar, Ermal Meta, Colapesce and many others.
