An air of Picasso surrounds the face of the woman. My inspiration and study of Picasso's work remains latent, as can be observed, in all my works.
I am fascinated and enchanted by Picasso's iconography where the vivid and carefree colors stand out.
A painting unafraid of the ugly or the bizarre, freedom of expression.

I try to move within the action of continuing to reinvent cubism by giving it a contemporary feel.
I regularly access parameters I consider recurrent, such as the constant assimilation of images from the past, playing with others' language, focusing on old and modern painters.
I feel the sensation of a constant dive inward into history.
My study and research of the cubist movement, especially across Picasso's extensive trajectory, takes me to unknown territories.
In each painting I try to revisit the problems and solutions that Picasso posed with cubism.
Cubism for me is a very important artistic movement within the history of art.
