With Best Friends Forever, SKE celebrates one of the most iconic friendships in pop culture: that of Snoopy and Woodstock.
Through a dynamic composition inspired by a sketchbook and street art aesthetics, the artist revisits the Peanuts universe by blending sketches, graphic annotations and splashes of color. The different expressions of Snoopy — mischievous, combative or tender — tell the richness of this mythical duo.
At the center of the work, the embrace between Snoopy and Woodstock embodies the true essence of the message: a sincere friendship, made of quarrels, complicity and reunions.
Between generational nostalgia and contemporary visual language, SKE transforms these iconic characters into a vibrant and timeless scene.
A work full of emotion and energy, intended for collectors sensitive to pop culture icons and their reinterpretation in contemporary art.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all‑around creator who grew up in the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring a large portion of his artistic works.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with a double read, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE's market value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also make his mark in the digital artworks market, a major trend in the last two years, enhancing the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture studies define a style that is now essential.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Prominent & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A WORLD BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE's work is part of a prestigious lineage. His line work conveys the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit classics, not hesitating to détourne the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed shapes to confront a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), through Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXE, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style that sometimes recalls Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you encounter sneaker worlds (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It’s vibrant art, with textured finishes sometimes reminiscent of Jeff Koons’ glossy finish or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your interior.
