With "Goldorak Reborn", SKE transforms the legendary icon of Japanese animation into a true monument of urban culture.
The famous robot appears here as a relic of steel marked by time: cracked armor, graffiti, symbols and splashes of paint bear witness to the passage of generations and the appropriation of the myth by street art aesthetics. Between futuristic relic and urban fresco, Goldorak becomes a contemporary statue dedicated to the memory of pop culture.
Despite the marks of time, the giant still stands, symbolizing resilience and renewal.
A powerful work blending nostalgia, manga culture and the energy of street art, intended for collectors who appreciate timeless icons.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and a jack-of-all-trades who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic works.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meanings, fuse the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE's market value has risen noticeably. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by Opulence Gallery in October, and he also featured in an American art magazine, confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, cementing his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE has also established himself in the digital art market, a major trend of the past two years, enhancing the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture plays characterize a now-ubiquitous style.
SKE is undeniably an artist to watch, whether to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Ranked & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE's work follows a prestigious lineage. His linework shows the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating Banksy’s subversion or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works bridge eras: they revisit classics, not hesitating to deconstruct Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits alongside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you encounter the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass-consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes sometimes evoking the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This artwork is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
