This is a recently commissioned piece created to commemorate the symbolic return of the Pan Am brand in the 21st century.
The poster celebrates a 12-night transatlantic journey designed to evoke the golden age of air travel. It features a map of the original routes, a Pan Am Clipper flying overhead, and a crew member serving branded champagne. The evocative tones and vintage-inspired color palette, combined with Pan Am’s signature blue, aim to capture the spirit of the Jet Age with a nostalgic yet contemporary twist.
This design isn’t one of the original posters from the 1950s or 60s—it’s a modern reinterpretation with a commemorative purpose. It doesn’t just pay tribute to the past; it also marks the actual return of Pan Am to the skies through exclusive luxury journeys operated by Criterion Travel and Bartelings Associates, under official license from Pan Am Brands.
