Description from the seller
Acrylic and Gold Leaf on Canvas
80 × 80 cm
Stretched on a stretcher frame, ready to hang
This work lives on the tension between depth and light. On a calm, dark background, a circular structure of gold leaf unfolds, its concentric traces reminiscent of tree rings. The surface appears almost geological – like a cross-section through time and material.
At the center a dark core opens, giving the image meditative calm while also forming a strong focal point. The gold reflects light differently and changes its effect depending on the viewing angle and surroundings.
The combination of rough texture and noble gold leaf gives the work a special presence. It moves between minimalism, natural structure, and abstract symbolism – a picture about time, growth, and the beauty of reduction.
The painting is stretched on a sturdy frame and can be hung directly.
All works by the artist are unique. They are handcrafted paintings created with various techniques. The cracks, nicks, elevations, and paint splashes belong to the painting style. They are not flaws and are intentional by the artist.
All works are hand-signed and shipped with a certificate of authenticity.
It is included in the package or shipped rolled at the edge.
