Description of the lot:
An exceptional and very hard-to-find lot is up for sale, composed of 16 issues, all of them corresponding to No. 1 of their respective collections. These are original pieces from the golden age of adventure comics in Spain, published by legendary labels such as Hispano Americana de Ediciones, Editorial Maga and Ediciones Toray.
Highlights included (among others):
"Rayo" Kit in "Llegan los indios" (No. 1): Cult series from Hispano Americana.
Huracán (No. 1): The start of Maga's legendary adventure series.
Arizona (No. 1): Reference point of Toray's classic western.
Los Piratas del Aire (No. 1): Classic aviation adventure.
¡Manos Arriba! (No. 1): Historic 1-peseta issue.
El Caballero Negro (No. 1): Medieval epic in landscape format.
Condition:
Authenticity: 100% original from the era (not facsimile reissues).
Condition: General condition / good for its age (approx. 70-80 years). They show the natural yellowing of paper and slight signs of use on the edges that certify their age. No major paper flaws that affect reading or the aesthetics of the covers.
