The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before being individually returned to our collectors without any constraints. Transport costs include all fees from the United States to your home.

IMPORTANT: NEVER accept a damaged package without opening and inspecting it.

If the artwork is damaged, you must refuse delivery and indicate the reason for the refusal on the delivery note, noting issues such as “broken,” “scratched,” “damaged,” or “folded.” If only the packaging is damaged but the content is intact, you may accept the package. However, if both the packaging and the content are damaged, you must refuse the package without hesitation. Note that if you accept the package without inspecting your purchase at delivery, we cannot request compensation or a replacement.

If you request a withdrawal, DHL fees will remain your responsibility. You will be liable for the DHL Express shipping costs, which are non-refundable. Only the price of the artwork will be refunded.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained recognition in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking among the ten best sculptors under 30 years old according to Artprice that same year. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, during the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl for his impressive two-meter Bronze One Dollar sculpture, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, encouraged by his meeting with sculptor César Baldaccini. He later turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. The artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to fuse his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

Karl particularly enjoys unveiling his works at international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by the Bel Air Fine Art gallery at the Art Monaco fair with his Cryptogram One creation. The following year, he presented his One Dollar works themed “In God We Trust” at the Artco France gallery. His 2016 solo show at the Atrium Gallery in Marbella, Spain, was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works in front of the international press.

2026: - Finalization of the work One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters, 7 tons. The world's largest One Dollar sculpture created by the artist.

2025: - Installation of the monumental work Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the newly built Pavillon des Bains, on the Promenade Michel d’Ornano, inaugurated by the mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024: - Art Miami - Group exhibitions Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. For the occasion, a bronze cryptogram of 1.80 m and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival, for which the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. The artists interviewed about the artist and receiving the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: - Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of the St. Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.
- Rapper Rick Ross posed with a special St. Regis edition One Dollar.

2022: - New York: Times Square NY City, projection on the Nasdaq screen of the work “A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City.”

2021: - New studio in Austin, Texas, United States.
- Solo exhibition of the artist.

2020: - Start of work on the largest piece ever created by the artist: the One Dollar Bronze Green 8 Meters.
- Deauville American Film Festival: he creates a new sculpture in collaboration with the town of Deauville, inspired by the barriers along the Deauville promenade (the planks).

2019: - Deauville American Film Festival: the artist created a new sculpture, representing his dollar engraved in aluminum.

2018: - Creation of a new sculpture for the Deauville American Film Festival trophy; among the artists who received the artist’s trophy sculpture are: Morgan Freeman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Elle Fanning, Jason Clarke and many others...

- Several One Dollar sculptures by the artist exhibited inside the Royal Monceau Hotel.
- The artist painted a monumental work on a 54-meter wall, Psalm 4, at the Street Art Museum in Brussels.

2017: - Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in creating the trophies for the Deauville American Film Festival.

2016: - Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter-tall, fully bronze “One Dollar” was exhibited at the Art Paris fair.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- First in Spain at the Atrium Gallery in Marbella, solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of the international press and the mayor of the city, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. A special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: - Second collaboration with Maserati with the creation of a monumental installation titled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work consists of a Maserati covered with a white plastic wrap and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several dollar-bill sculptures are placed on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s largest debt.

2014: - Maserati presents worldwide the Maserati Ghibli revisited by Karl Lagasse on the occasion of the brand’s 100th anniversary.
- Solo exhibition at the Italian Embassy in Paris. The Italian ambassador in France organized a dinner in his presence, around the artist’s works.

2013: - Collective exhibition Automobile Club de France, Place de la Concorde, Paris.

2012: - Karl donated to the town of Deauville a bronze Crytogram One sculpture, which will permanently stand at the town’s entrance.
- For the 65th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival, Karl created a sculpture “Building” made from a collage of photos tracing the festival’s key moments.
