Description from the seller

925/1000 silver link bracelet necklace with a pendant in a floral design. The pendant features openwork details.

NIELS ERIK FROM

The Danish silversmith Niels Erik From opened his workshop in 1931 at the age of 23.
In 1944 he registered his brand name “N.E.From” in Nakskoy. In 1960 his son Hilmer Jensen joined the business and took over the company in 1986 after his father’s death. A few years later the company ceased to exist.

In the early years Niels Erik From became known for his floral jewelry in the Danish Arts and Crafts style, often set with semi-precious stones. Around the 1960s, the sleeker modernist pieces were produced, for which this company became even more well known. The company used different markings depending on the size and time of manufacture. The following markings were used: FROM, N.E.FROM STERLING DENMARK, 925 and sometimes with N.E.From in italic script.

Niels Erik From ranks among the best of the modernist Danish designers. The jewelry is highly sought after and the prices of the pieces continue to rise.
