The artist, distant from schools and trends, creates his works as a free man, following exclusively his own ideals and personal goals.
In this painting on a textured base, the artist has drawn many colored shades that then open up and fade, creating zones of light and others of shadow.
Sailing in the calm sea on a summer day, the blue color of the sea and the suffocating heat of the torrid sun emerge. The sun has the upper hand for the whole day but the sea will remain always blue, in its infinitude!
The dimensions of this painting, which can be hung both horizontally and vertically, lend themselves very well to both a home and an office because the variety of colors suits every type of wall.

Paolo Contin has a long artistic career. He trained in the world of design and since 1980 has worked in fashion and art. Since 1999 he began to exhibit his works; in 2002 his first solo show in Padua, followed by many exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Sydney.
