Up for auction is a nice old full size italian violin for professional musician or collector. The label says: Farotto Celestino allievo della zio Celeste fece in Milano l'anno 1951 Farotto Celestino. This is a superb sounding instrument, also very beautiful in appearance. The softly flamed two pieces maple back measures 35,5 cm. The total length of the violin is 58,8 cm. The width of the upper bouts: 168 mm; middle bouts: 114 mm; lower bouts: 206 mm. Straight high grained spruce top, golden brown reddish varnish. The purfling is professionally executed, the edges are masterfully done. This violin is in excellent condition with no cracks. The sound is very powerful, deep, mellow and rich. Shipping worldwide. All items are sold as they are pictured in the photographs.
