BIOGRAPHY

I was born in Cádiz and currently reside and work in Barcelona. I am a painter, and my work primarily centers on the landscape, understood as a space for pictorial exploration where I investigate atmosphere, matter, and the perception of the environment. I graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, where I later completed a master's and a PhD, developing training that combines artistic practice with theoretical research. My pictorial work mainly develops through oil painting, a medium with which I explore the construction of the landscape from a contemporary perspective, focusing on the relationship between nature, memory, and visual experience. Throughout my career I have participated in individual and collective exhibitions at national and international levels. My practice centers on the landscape as a field of pictorial research, where painting becomes a way of thinking and experiencing the territory through matter and color.
