For this work I drew inspiration from nature.
A clearing in the night lit by a soft light where a few wisps of abstract flowers dance under the moon.
A window into beauty ....
Born in Bordeaux in 1958, I spent hours as a child watching artists draw with chalk on the sidewalks… Their drawings shone in the sun, and when the rain came to kiss them, the colors gradually blended like a rainbow in the middle of the street and I lingered, amazed…
Myriam Carbonnier is a Bordeaux-based artist. She moves toward the fine arts and later she joins a school of painting restoration.
But her pursuit as a painter leans toward abstraction, and her paintings are as many windows onto a creativity and a liberated expression.
