Luis Alberto Wells (1939-2023) was an Argentine visual artist, a pioneer of the Informalist Movement (1959) and recognized for his "Techos" and "Toys". He explored painting, sculpture and design, with an aesthetic that integrated discarded materials. He resided in London and New York, winning the Di Tella Award (1965) and the Konex (1982).
