Description from the seller

Will Redbird, an Indigenous artist of the Kiowa Nation in North America (Oklahoma).
He is the son of the renowned Kiowa artist Robert Redbird (1939 - 2016).

He was primarily known for his South Plains figures, often draped in blankets, and his depictions of Kiowa folklore.

Will has inherited his father's artistic talent and follows in his footsteps by creating images with similar motifs. He uses, like his father, predominantly airbrush and gouache for his paintings.

One of his originals is offered under the title "Lavender & Sage," created in 1997.

The painting is done on art board and is hand-signed by the artist; it is 38.5 cm high and 48.5 cm wide.
The frame is 53 cm high and 63 cm wide.
