Description from the seller
This screen print is made with a second-hand plush bear and 2 ink colors (Flamingo pink on calm grey). The original bear was dipped in India ink and printed in its entirety on paper. From this original bear work, a screen print was made in an edition of 25 bears.
Technique: Hand-pulled screen print on 340-gram (acid-free) hand-made paper
Includes: Artist Certificate of Authenticity
Worldwide shipping / ships within 48 hours in a tube. The work is shipped unframed.

Michiel Folkers a.k.a. Gieler (1982) began graffiti in Amsterdam in the late 1990s. Years later he swapped street walls for canvas in his studio. In much of his work the feeling of the streets is still clearly visible or tangible. At the moment his work travels all over the world and he curates exhibitions in galleries from Zürich to New York. Especially in America his work has become popular in recent years, and he hangs with several 'famous people' at home.
