Description from the seller
"Suspended Equilibrium" is articulated from an architecture of elemental geometric shapes that, far from seeking strict stability, explore a tense and provisional visual balance. A large red arch dominates the composition, acting as the main structure that organizes space and supports a series of planes and volumes that seem to defy gravity.
Horizontal bars and cylinders are arranged like pieces of an open constructive system, in which each element appears to depend on the other to maintain a fragile stability. The circles, suspended or resting on minimal planes, introduce a dynamic counterpoint that suggests movement and transformation.
The chromatic contrast between intense reds, deep greens, blues, and yellows generates a dialogue between weight and lightness, structure and play, while the neutral background allows the geometry to acquire an almost sculptural presence.
Beyond representation, the work poses itself as a reflection on the tension between order and imbalance, where formal simplicity becomes a language capable of suggesting architecture, object, and symbol at the same time. The composition invites the viewer to contemplate how harmony can arise precisely from instability.
