Description from the seller
Beautiful custom Denver Nuggets jersey signed by Nikola Jokic
Jokic was drafted by the Denver Nuggets in 2014, where he would play the center position. In the 2018/2019 season he was selected for the NBA All-Star Game for the first time. Later in the season he reached the Conference Semifinals with the Denver Nuggets. Together with veteran Paul Millsap and buddy Jamal Murray, with whom Jokic specialized in the pick-and-roll, they were defeated by the Portland Trail Blazers in a decisive Game 7. Led by Damian Lillard, the Portland Trail Blazers advanced to the Finals.
Jokić grew into the Nuggets' leading star and was voted NBA MVP in the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons. His versatility was particularly valued. Jokic did not excel in a single aspect of basketball, but posted high statistics across several categories (points, rebounds, and assists). He led his team in 2022/23 to the first title in the Western Conference and thus the club's first NBA Finals in history. He also shone there. Jokic and the Nuggets were too strong for the Miami Heat at 4–1 and became NBA champions for the first time. The Serbian himself was named the Finals MVP. In the 2022/23 season Jokic became the first player ever to lead in points (600), rebounds (269) and assists (190) among everyone in the playoffs. Additionally, he completed ten triple-doubles during the playoffs, which was also a record.
