■ Description
This item is a set of five yunomi tea cups made by the Japanese ceramic studio Kozan Kiln (Kutani ware).
The cups feature a soft white ceramic body decorated with hand-painted floral motifs such as peony, chrysanthemum and other botanical designs. Each cup displays a different floral pattern, creating a harmonious yet varied set.
The refined overglaze colors combined with the finely textured glaze surface create an elegant and warm aesthetic characteristic of Japanese ceramics.
The delicate crackle pattern visible on the surface is an intentional decorative glazing technique, and should not be mistaken for damage or cracks.
The set comes with its original wooden storage box, bearing an inscription reading “Iroe Yunomi” along with what appears to be the kiln name. An original leaflet describing the artist and kiln is also included.
This set can be appreciated both as functional Japanese tea cups and as a collectible example of traditional Japanese ceramic artistry.
