Plant table - Classic - Mahogany - Pedestal

Very beautiful and decorative pedestal / plant stand. The pedestal is 48 cm high and the top has a diameter of 29 cm. It weighs about 3 kg. The pedestal probably dates from the 1970s or 1980s of the last century (it may be a bit newer).

The pedestal is subtly and elegantly crafted (turned), and is clearly inspired by the classical from antiquity. The pedestal consists of a beautifully finished stem (see photos). The wood used is probably mahogany. It has all the characteristics of this wood and the lovely red-brown color as well. The wood is very nicely worked. The pedestal is very elegant and of very high quality.

The pedestal still looks very beautiful and the wood has a very nice sheen. There are hardly any signs of use visible. On the base there are here and there a few small dings (see photos). It still looks fantastic! The classical shape gives this pedestal a very beautiful and classy appearance. Especially with a statue it becomes a majestic whole (see photos)!

The pedestal can be used in several ways. It can serve as a plant stand, where it looks particularly beautiful to place a large plant with trailing greenery on it. Because of the height of the piece, such a plant is presented very well. You can also place a work of art on the pedestal (see photos). A statue or vase comes into its own on this beautiful pedestal. You could even use it as a side table (see photo), although it is probably not designed for that.

The pedestal will be carefully packed and insured when shipped.
