Description from the seller

Barilla Parma print by Busi 1931;
Joyful chubby little boys with their hair brushed up get into all sorts of mischief, playing with pasta: they dance in a plate of spaghetti, this is a page from the Barilla calendar realized by Adolfo Busi in 1931, in response to the "Manifesto of Futurist Cuisine" by Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, which wanted to ban pasta from Italian tables. The calendar by Busi, instead, featured plump, dynamic children who happily played with pasta shapes, thus demonstrating that pasta gave energy and was good for people.
