Terrestrial table globe - 1960-1970

This is a couple of vintage wooden globes in an antique repro style with detailed, aged world maps and mythological decorations such as sea serpents and sea monsters.

Probably from Europe (possibly Scandinavia or Germany, 1950s–1980s), with French cartographic elements such as “Quintanta” and “Regio Patalis” referring to 16th–17th-century maps in the Mercator style. Made as decorative objects with a wooden base and meridians.

Shows signs of wear. Otherwise in good condition.
