Description from the seller
Six leather-bound volumes of the magazine Je sais tout (I Know Everything). The first illustrated encyclopedic publication, founded in 1905. It appeared on the 15th of each month, although its publication was briefly interrupted at the end of 1914 due to World War I.
It focused on popular science, but also included serialized novels. It is especially known for publishing the adventures of Arsène Lupin, written by Maurice Leblanc, starting in 1907.
It generally measured 17.5 by 24.5 cm and contained more than 100 pages. In 1922 it changed format. The magazine’s headquarters were in Paris.
The first bound volume begins with issues from 1910 through 1912. Two bound volumes per year. Very well preserved for its 116 years. Some pages show age spots and wear. No pages are missing. Excellent reading with colorful humorous pages—songs, literature, poetry and history among its many pages. Also notable are illustrations signed by French artist Francisque Poulbot (verified on Wikipedia).
Please look closely at the images that are part of the description. There is much more content than the pages shown in the photos. Each volume contains more than 650 pages.
