About the artist:

Apset, born in Thessaloniki in 1984, is an indispensable street art figure whose work has marked the urban scene in Greece and beyond. Involved in graffiti culture since 1998, he founded the group Agb-2g with friends in the heart of Thessaloniki. His art is distinguished by striking portraits, a unique use of colors, and an innovative graphic approach. His name, an anagram of his first name Stelios (Ste-Set), reflects his conceptual approach.

After studies in graphic design in Thessaloniki and an internship in Warsaw, he trained in several artistic disciplines, from sculpture to video, including engraving and drawing. A graduate of the School of Fine Arts at Aristotle University, Apset collaborated with Pacific Décor for the design of amusement parks in Greece and participated in major festivals such as the Thessaloniki Street Art Festival and Boarding Pass in Chalkidiki.

Over the years, he evolved in his practice, moving away from tags to focus on realistic figures and 3D portraits, his true signature. He draws inspiration from daily life, the city of Thessaloniki, graphic art, and even fashion. His works, vibrant and powerful, question society, culture, and the human condition, while offering a striking aesthetic vision.
