Elegant glazed ceramic vase crafted by the renowned San Rocco manufactory. The piece reinterprets with Italian flair the oriental aesthetic of Imari porcelain, blending local ceramic tradition with Japanese decorative motifs.
Design: The globular body features a hand-painted polychrome decoration. Prominent are large peony blooms in rust red and deep blue foliage, outlined by gilded edging that enhances its volume.
Details: The neck of the vase is adorned with stylized radiating motifs, typical of the factory's flaming style, creating a strong color contrast with the white base.
Material: Glazed ceramic (high-fired earthenware).
Manufacturer: San Rocco (Italy).
Conservation status: good vintage condition. Mild signs of aging on the gilding and the base, consistent with the era and the artisanal craftsmanship.
