This work was executed in oil, layering coats of several shades of blue up to mauve-gray. The aim was to create little contrast in order to enhance the impression of abundance generated by the flowers. It is a dynamic work in which energy circulates thanks to the square format chosen. The gesture is brisk and quick; it increases the sense of whirlwinds. In the upper part, an arc of circle gives structure to the piece; this could symbolize the container of the flowers, (the handle of a basket during a flower battle?) left abstract in order not to orient the contemplation. The viewer remains free to what they see.
