Bruno Cantais, professional painter based in Lyon, is registered with the Maison des Artistes.
Born in 1966 in Le Havre.
Bruno Cantais explores several techniques, ranging from the abstract expressionism of Rauschenberg, to matter projections, to Pop Art collage or expressionism.
He digs into the surface of the canvas, carving furrows that seem to open paths or sometimes become lost in the fog of color. His inspiration is order and disorder, of feeling and sense, of shadow and light, of emptiness and fullness.
