AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Early 1900s antique brazier with a bell shape, in copper, pierced brass and cast iron. Historically, the brazier was an institution in homes, especially in mountain villages, together with the fireplace; it provided the heat needed for survival. It was a handsome focal point at the center of the room where the family would gather in the afternoon to chat, read, smoke, etc. Coal was placed in the basin, the brazier was covered with its lid, thus releasing uniform heat and, with its evocative shape, emitting a very particular light effect.

The brazier consists of 4 parts. The bell is missing one element on the top, but the bronze statuette does not reveal the absence. The brazier is missing the shovel (ash tool).

Two plant holders in the same style, in brass/copper, dimensions 32x30 cm and weighing 500 g each.

Original patina; this is a vintage object showing normal signs of wear due to time.

Some parts show rust due to neglect by previous owners; a good cleaning will restore the object to its former splendor.

Usable as decorative accents or suitable for garden use at parties, without the concern of having to refurbish them.
